The mission of North State Parent is to nurture and encourage the powerful bond of "family" through topics of interest to parents, grandparents and guardians of children, as well as teachers, childcare providers, and others who work with children. North State Parent is about supporting children first! North State Parent is a free monthly publication, with a distribution of 17,000 that circulates within 3½ California counties: Butte, Shasta, Southern Siskiyou and Tehama. With resources galore, our pages are filled with family-orientated places to go and things to do; a focus on parenting, community, education, and teens and youth; annual directories that include Summer Camps, Dance & Gymnasitics and Music Instruction & Groups; features on seasonal and holiday festivities, and much more.
