Sugar-Term Memory
art_1009_sugar.jpgThere's something about food being available for free that greatly enhances its desirability. Anyone who's ever worked in an office setting with a kitchen area or break room knows what I mean. I can attest that someone could place, in my office break room, a box of fairly stale pepperoni-flavored hub-cap-sized donuts filled with jalapeno cheese wiz, and within the hour they'd all be eaten.

Navigating Tough Times - A Father's Journey
art_0209_fathersjourney3.jpgIt's becoming an all-too-common story. "Times are really hard right now" has become a common topic of conversation. But aside from those little daily miracles, is there a larger, perhaps more important reason we love our dad? You bet. You are so much more...

More than just a Stroller

art_0508_stroller.jpgIt seems like such a little thing. The double stroller for my children, 3-year old twins, is sitting in our family room in the basement, the place where my wife and I escape to every night to watch some TV together after our kids have finally fallen asleep. While it is taking up valuable space there, I just don't know what to do with it. It has been in our family for over three years now and somehow shoving it in the garage doesn't seem a just ending for this device that has been with us for so long.
